- So the first thing you need to make sure is that your car engine is cool, if not then leave it for half an hour and after that start to change the engine oil.
- So now you have to go under the car and locate the drain plug in the engine oil chamber which is basically a bolt. after finding the drain plug, put a pan under it so that the oil doesn’t get spilled on the floor and get into the pan.
- After draining the old oil completely close the drain plug with its bolt tightly so that the new oil doesn’t get spilled on the floor, then open the oil cap in the engine and fill the new oil into it.
- The quantity and the grade of the oil that needs to be filled in the car are written in the owner’s manual.
- Most of the experts suggest that you should change the engine oil of your car between 7,500 km to 10,000 km or after 1 year.
